You can propagate it using stem cutting or leaves both.

From Cuttings

  • Snip off 5-6 inches long cutting from a mature and disease-free plant.
  • Remove the lower leaves keeping the upper ones intact.
  • Dip the cutting into a rooting hormone and plant it in a pot with a potting mix.
  • Mist the soil and place the pot in bright but indirect sunlight.
  • The new shoots will emerge in 2-4 weeks.

From Leaves

  • To propagate the plant from the leaf, snip off the leaf with some stem attached with it. Make an oblique cut.
  • Put some rooting hormone on the leaves’ end cut and plant it in a pot, but do not bury it deep into the soil.
  • Mist it lightly, and keep it in indirect sunlight.

A Tip: To save time, buy a well-grown plant from a nursery.
