Sandy soil got its name due to its sand-like texture. It has a high sand content or granular particles. It also prevents water erosion and a good choice for growing succulents.

It is also very light and warm and cannot hold a lot of moisture, which makes growing plants quite tricky for them as the development of the proper root system in plants requires a lot of humidity, which sandy soil lacks, due to its porous nature.

Lavender plants are famous for their beautiful flowers. Also, they are easy to grow and maintain, thanks to their hardy nature. Also, they can grow well in sandy soil as it provides good drainage.

3. Hibiscus

Botanical Name: Hibiscus rosa-sinensis

Hibiscus or Gudhal is another plant with beautiful cut flowers and many health benefits that you can grow even in sandy soils. These plants can not do well in waterlogged conditions and require moist soil. You can grow these plants in sandy soil by taking proper care of their water requirements.
