Location / Sunlight

The plant loves to be in bright sunlight all day long. Choose a location that gets a minimum of 4-6 hours of direct light every day. Avoid keeping it in a complete shade as it will result in slow growth.

Soil

Thuja plant thrives best in a well-draining growing medium. If you are using regular garden soil, amend it with plenty of vermicompost and organic matter.

Watering

Keep the soil a little on the moist side during the initial growth stages of the plant. Once established, it can take care of draught to some extent. Water only when the topsoil feels a little dry to the touch.
